Private Wine Tours and Private Sightseeing Tours
EcoTours and Pinot Patrol Wine Tours also conduct private custom tours for up to 13 guests in our new 15-passenger van. We also have the option to use other vehicles.
You may use the itineraries of our normal wine tours or sightseeing tours or you may change the tour itineraries to suit your group. I am happy to discuss the possibilities.
Our private tours will be limited to just your party. One to 13 guests may participate.
We charge $1,000 for a private tour that lasts up to nine hours, $500 for four hours, and $100 per hour after the 4 or 9 hours.
Advantages of Private Tours
- Your tour is exactly what you want. Stay longer or shorter at any of the stops on the tour.
- If your group has 9-13 guests, it may be less expensive to book a private tour than to pay the full-day tour per person rate.
- Also, I can go out of my way to pick you up.

Private Willamette Valley Wine Tours
Eight-hour tours are available or five-hour tours are available.
I can also organize private tours where you can choose the wineries. These tours are for people who either have favorite wineries or wineries that have been recommended to them.
I can also organize private tours where I can help you choose wineries based on your preferences.

Private Columbia Gorge Waterfalls Tours
Eight-hour tours and four-hour tours are available.
Visit many of Oregon’s most famous attractions in one day! Multnomah Falls and other beautiful falls, and the Columbia River Gorge. Tumbling waterfalls, incredible scenic overlooks, the majestic Cascade Mountains await you. Other attractions and hiking are available also.
Private Columbia Wine Tours
Eight-hour or five-hour tours are available.
I can organize a private tour where you can choose the wineries. These tours are for people who have favorite wineries or have been told by their friends what wineries are the best to go to.

Private Portland City Tours
Four-hour tours are available.
EcoTours of Oregon will not only tell you the history and interesting facts of life in the “City of Roses,” we’ll also talk about our public transit, why we’re known as one of the most “livable” cities in the USA, and where some of the off-the-beaten-path restaurants, shops and nightlife can be found. Entrance fees to some attractions are extra. Please call to discuss the attraction(s) you may be interested in. They may include: the Pittock Mansion, the Japanese Gardens, the Chinese Gardens, the World Forestry Center, the Portland Art Museum, and more.
$1,000, for up to nine hours. $500 for up to four hours. $100 per hour after 4 or 9 hours.
Private Tours – Wine Tours or Sightseeing Tours

You can use the itineraries for our normal Wine Tours or Sightseeing Tours or change the tour itineraries to suit your group. I am happy to discuss the possibilities. For example, you may combine with a visit to a couple of beautiful Willamette Valley wineries or Columbia Gorge wineries with a half-day tour of the Columbia Gorge Waterfalls including the famous Multnomah Falls. Another example, you can combine a half-day tour of the Columbia Gorge Waterfalls with a City tour of Portland. Many possibilities exist. Our private tours will be limited to just your party. 1 to 13 guests may participate.

Portland City Tour
The Portland City Tour can be arranged as either a morning or an afternoon half-day tour. Tours typically start at 9:00 AM or 2:00 PM and are 3 to 4 hours long, but we’re flexible! EcoTours of Oregon will not only tell you the history and interesting facts of life in the “City of Roses,” we’ll also talk about our public transit, why we’re known as one of the most “livable” cities in the USA, and where some of the off- the-beaten-path restaurants, shops and nightlife can be found.
Schedule
1:00 PM: Pickup at your hotel or residence. Drive through uptown, downtown, Chinatown, and Old Towne, the “Pearl District,” NW Portland, aka “Nob Hill,” or the “Alphabet District,” the Portland State University area, as well as Pioneer Courthouse Square, the Park Blocks, Waterfront Park, the Portlandia sculpture and some of Portland’s many fountains, bridges and parks.
2:40 PM: Journey up to the Pittock Mansion, home of Henry Pittock, the first publisher of the Oregonian Daily Newspaper. Walk the grounds overlooking the city of Portland and enter to see the lovely decor within this 16,000-square-foot French Renaissance mansion (admission not included).
3:35 PM: Arrive at the International Rose Test Gardens for a 40-minute visit to view the 525 varieties of roses in the oldest public rose garden in the United States.
4:30 PM: Return to your hotel.
On weekends, you may choose to visit Portland’s Saturday (craft) Market where hundreds of local craft vendors sell their wares in booths beneath the Burnside Bridge and ethnic food and music talent abound. On Saturdays, The Portland Farmers Market is a terrific place to view an abundance of local produce, flowers and wonderful food. Other options during the Portland City Tour include a visit to Washington Park attractions such as the Japanese Gardens, The Chinese Gardens, the World Forestry Center, the Vietnam Veteran’s Living Memorial and the Hoyt Arboretum. Or, you may choose to spend time visiting the Portland Art Museum, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry or the Oregon Historical Society Museum. If you decide not to visit any attractions, we can spend some time visiting neighborhoods of Portland such as the up and coming Pearl District, the Hawthorne District, the NW Nob Hill area and the Rose Quarter with the Oregon Convention Center and the Rose Quarter Arena. Prices for attractions gladly provided upon request.
The tour includes door-to-door transportation and the interpretive services of your ecotour guide. Entrance fees to some attractions are extra. Please call to discuss the attraction(s) you may be interested in.
